We had a family meeting(this was Tues) with the doctor and nurses about my mom. We were told that we needed to make a decision rather to keep sustaining her or to just let her go. If we wanted to give her more time we needed to think about moving her to a long term care center. We decided that we needed sometime to think about and discuss this as a family. On Weds my mom opened her eyes a couple of times but we were still not certain that it meant anything or if she was just doing it. We kept hoping that it meant something. ON Thursday she started to really interact with people. She would blink her eyes to questions and she seemed to know who everyone is. We really started to feel cautiously optimistic about recovery.
